About MortgageConnector

A free UK service that introduces homebuyers and remortgagers to FCA-authorised mortgage broker partners. We operate the introduction; the broker handles advice.

What we do

  • Collect a few details about your mortgage situation through a short form.
  • Compare the enquiry with partner coverage, declared specialisms and availability.
  • Pass your introduction to that broker so they can call you back.

What we don't do

  • We are not a mortgage broker.
  • We are not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
  • We do not give mortgage advice or arrange mortgages directly. The broker we introduce you to does that.
  • We do not charge consumers. Brokers in our network pay us when we introduce a match.

Our Mission

Broker services vary by lender scope, fee model and the circumstances they handle. Consumers may not know which questions to ask when comparing support for a first purchase, self-employed income, complex credit, buy-to-let, or remortgage.

MortgageConnector reduces that initial search. Tell us what you need and, where a relevant partner is available, we pass the enquiry to one partner. Matching uses declared specialism, coverage and capacity. Consumers should independently verify the firm and adviser on the FCA Register.

The service is free to consumers because partner brokers pay us for introductions. This payment does not replace your own checks of the broker's scope, fees and suitability process.

Who runs MortgageConnector

Steven Haggerty

Founder, MortgageConnector

How We Choose Brokers

FCA authorisation

Partners must provide FCA firm details. Consumers should verify the firm and adviser on the FCA Register.

Specialism fit

We profile partner brokers by specialism so the match is relevant.

Current availability

Matching considers whether a partner is currently accepting the relevant type of enquiry.
