Mortgage after a CCJ
A county court judgment is a fact on the file, not a score this site can turn into an approval chance. Enter the amount, date and whether it is satisfied. The result is a preparation list.
What this page will not do
- Satisfied does not mean every lender ignores the judgment.
- A small CCJ and a large CCJ are both facts. This site does not rank them.
- Check the record on your statutory credit files before the appointment so the dates match.
- It will not name a lender, a product, or an approval chance.
Questions
- How long after a CCJ can I get a mortgage?
- There is no single waiting period MortgageConnector can quote. Lenders set their own criteria, and a broker has to apply them to the actual file.
- Does satisfying a CCJ remove it?
- Satisfying a judgment updates how it is reported. It does not guarantee a lender will ignore it. Ask the broker what evidence of satisfaction they need.
- Will you tell me my chances?
- No. An approval probability would be a lending judgement. We can introduce you to an FCA-authorised broker who can assess the case.
